POIRET.
Paul Poiret was a French fashion designer and founder of his namesake, Haute Couture House.
He became famous for his design of a black mantle of tulle over a black taffeta, which was painted by the artist
Louis Billotey. Our collection takes inspiration from Poiret’s famous designs of harem pants and sultana skirts,
with delicate florals and foliage printed on handmade paper bound with vellum belt and opulent velvet ribbon
hand finished with a dried pampas grass set wax seal.
