Gustav Klimt, an Austrian symbolist painter who is widely known for his highly decorative style of work, his most famous piece being known as ‘The Kiss’. A piece that was created in the midsts of what is commonly known as his ‘Golden Phase’ where Klimt used gold leaf to create an opulent finish to his work. Our very own collection, called ‘KLIMT’ incorporates the use of gold leaf throughout the suite, from gold foiled edgings on textured card to a gold leaf wax seal bounded together by ivory hand-dyed and hand-torn ribbon.
